Taiwan Trip 2013

My 12 days in Taiwan :D

Firstly, thanks those guys that sent me off to Taiwan <3 And apologies to those that really wanted to go but really cannot make it~! We don't mean to go at this period~!!! It was a long time ago plan ahh~!!! 

Below are photos of the hostel that we stayed in Hualian. It was really cosy, and the landlord, Huang mama and her family are really welcoming towards us! It is just a home sweet home after we come back from our outing everyday. Sadly, we only stayed there for 2 nights i think? Can't really remember a lot of details already!! 

As you can see, the room is really cosy! And btw, its double storey! hehe ^^

It was a worthwhile trip although i slipped and pulled my ligament on the last day, which have not yet healed till now! I think there as no need to explain in details about what I did there because instagram and fb pic already spoke for me! But seriously, Taiwan got not much morning life! hahaha, we slacke din hostel/hotel every morning LOLOLOL xoxo

10-12Mar
A visit to University of Manchester, Manchester Town Hall, Old Trafford and the University of Sheffield.

13-14Mar
Visit to University of Liverpool, Liverpool Law Clinic, International Slavery Museum, Beatles Story, University of Leicester and Leicestershire Youth Council.

15-16Mar
A visit to University of Warwick, Warwick Centre for Human Rights in Practice, Conventry Law Cantre, Warwick Castle and Shakespeare's Birthplace and Exhibition and Stratford upon Avon.

17-20Mar
A guided tour of Oxford University, visit to University of Southampton, Death Penalty Project, CILEX, Inns of Court and Royal Courts of Justice.

I thought I am going to write a lot about this trip, but then now that I finally have the time to sit down and blog, I realise many things cannot be explained by typing them out, we've got to experience them ourselves. I cannot put my experience of this trip into words as I feel that even words are not enough to describe the exposure I got from this trip. From the snowflakes forming on the windows of the airplane to the excitement when I felt when I was about to reach home to the warmth of Singapore. I really am thankful to my generous parents who are willing to fork out so much money for me. They might not always be my pillar of support mentally (cuz I don't pour my childish feelings to them), but they have been trying to give my brother and me the best financial support they can. I feel bless and grateful to them. Especially Mom, she must have missed me so much (':

Its still really fun to have time to catch up with my year 1s friends, my roommates were really cool~! Its really nice to stay with them, no hassles at all !! (: & the two teachers that took good care of us!

Also, now I know the famous bridge of london is not london bridge but called towers' bridges!

I need to thank those people on the trip that brought so much fun to me (: My room mates Amanda and Jastine who were so understanding of women's needs and chiong pack luggage together!! hahaha! Wenceslaus for being so high and fun?? Elisha for letting me watch movies on his laptop until all of us knock out ! And especially Agatha, YY & WeiChiat (Although I always box you!) The fun & laughters cannot be measured even though I am always the one that they are laughing at >_< hehe xoxo! <3

All in all it was definitely an informative trip that allow me to think a lot more about my future and the route I should be heading towards since my gpa is quite malnourished now and all.. After I told my Aunt about the criteria and all I am glad they are still supportive of me. Uncle Ed even say, don't go to a lousy uni because of low GPA, take entry exams! hahaha, I am glad, to have a whole kampung behind me ^^

Hello, sick girl over here.. Its going to be 4am soon but here I am,  wide awake.. Cuz I napped just now.. Having a long long longgg chat with Mandi now.. But I think she is asleep already? hehe.. Somehow, I am so missing my friends rn /: so.. I shall blog about them !

Najiha's belated birthday surprise (:

Mandi, Joey, Sam, Cass and Najiha had a girl day out in the noon to Strictly Pancakes! (: My virgin trip there and it was okayyy i guess.? But I don't think I will suggest to go there myself.. hahaha, not worth it for the food? It was a good experience nevertheless! Its been so long since I meet them out and chat with them. Its been so long now too since this happened like one month plus ago and I am only blogging about it now.. hahaa.. so sorrryyy :(

Then we had to blindfold Najiha to Swensens! HAD A REALLY HARD TIME LOOKING FOR THE SWENSENS IN ION !!!! >:( It is at such a secluded area LOL

And yeap! Had a great dinner there with the Gang~ So much fun ^^

(Genting Trip)

Genting trip was really more fun than what I imagined.. Really.. Over my expectations!

Genting is a boring place. Really. Like a mini sentosa with lots of fog.. But they managed to make it so damn fun! We were all really tired before the trip, during the trip and after the trip.. But I appreciate all the fun this group of ppls give to me (: Without them, I guess my life would be definitely less fun x 10000.. Yuzheng & Shukai were really such gentlemen ^^ Good roommates to bunk in with ! I want to thank them for being so understanding to girls' needs.. The amount of time Sam and me hogged the toilet.. They were so understanding.. They even went to the other guys' rooms to have their shower.. Thanks guys! 

And Sam, I am glad you "pressured" me to come for this trip <: And I am super happy that you took the space shot ! LIKE SUPER! I don't know how to express my satisfaction when you decided to take the space shot with me! haha, I know to me all those rides seems pretty pointless cuz I am not afraid of rides. I know its a big try-out for you and I am glad you did it with me! :D hahas, super happy you know? Even though I didn't show it out <:

But there are also moments that I was quite pissed during this trip.. MEAL TIMES :( Arghh.. I would rather eat separately.. Yeah, we did eat separately.. Its too much a chore to find places that can fit 16 of us.. Yeah, that is practically the only downside in this trip /:

Bowling session was awesome thanks to the luminous alley~! So much fun ^^

Karaoke sessions were not bad too.. considering 16 ppl, 2 mics.. haha, I'd love to hear Malcolm rap again! Like a black rapper really! DAEBAKK! 

Pub session. To bring yuzheng to drink! LOL! Martell with mixer! weehoo! The place was too noisy for us to talk properly.. so.. it was alright I guess.. 

YOLO-ED? I guess everyone did their yolo stuffs there except me.. Haha, I still don't find the challenge for me in genting or in life .. 

So thankful for them to be in my life & to take up my time :D

2 years after graduation.. How many two years will there be in the future? :O

PS: Indeed. There will be problems between friends, but if everyone is willing to put in effort, this friendship thing might just work out (:

When the ocean is a better toilet :O

Krabi, Thailand trip 2012 (0710-1010)

I don't know how to explain the fun I had there :>
I wanted a getaway, to relax and chill myself, but Krabi gave me even more (: In addition to relaxation, I got fun and thrill definitely.. Though there were some boredom, haha, I enjoyed this short getaway from all my emotions and all those familiar things (: Its been 5 days since I came back to Singapore.. All too familiar, all too scary.. I miss Krabi I guess.?? Miss the hotel bed, the hotel pool, my kuku blue flowery bike and the clear water ocean~

I brought a heavy heart there.. Looking forward to the trip to run away from Singapore and not really looking forward to go overseas.. Anywhere will do, as long as I leave this familiar place.. In the end, it was really not a bad place, cuz I don't really have to worry about losing my way there since Krabi is a small island (: This trip was really different from what I imagined.. We didn't really slacked and chill on the beach, we didn't even visit the beach ourselves actually hahaa.. In the night, its too dark to go to the beach too.. So unlike singapore (: But the starry night is amazinggg !! The stars over there is like sparkling and the night sky simply look magical ! Hahahaha ~!

First day:
Landed and we started to our hotel, walked around the Aonang road side stalls, booked our tours and went to the night market at the Krabi town.. A lot of food there yooo ~! delicious ~!! Milk tea there is a must try especially for pple who like sweet stuffs ~ :B

Second day:
4 island tour. I guess this is the boring part, cuz all the island looks about the same.. And when you wanna go toilet, mamaaa, you might as well go to the ocean to release yourself man ! Toilet there dirty and you still need pay 40cents SGD to enter. LOL /: I guess its better if we could just chill at one beach with resort or smth to wash up.. Cuz beach after beach makes it boring.. Snorkeling wasn't as fun as I thought, cuz the reefs at Krabi isn't all that fascinating.. I would like to go to other places with prettier reefs to snorkel (: The boat was really cool though ! I like it a lot ~!

Then we went for massage.. OH MY HOLY MAMA :( Pain until like madd, and my right shoulders hurt like for the next few days.. due to old wound plus the strong massage :( I'd never pick thai massage ever again :( First time massage and its such a bad experience for me :( PAIN DAOO :(

Dope of the second day is whereby we picked up our courage to rent bike~! LOL, real motorbikes!
hahaha, Idk how to explain the thrill of riding the bike and being the passenger~! Just too scaryy and thrilling~!! :DDDDDDD

Third day:
Best day over there.? Cuz its likeee the activities were awesomeeee!
Elephant trekking was ok-ok.. I don't really like it so mehh~
Flying fox was cool.? hahaha, short span but not bad yo!
White water rafting was not badddd ! If I had more monehh I won't mind going for the more exciting one ! hahaha ! & the current almost swept me awayyy ~! >:( Luckily I was safe hehe, quck quck pulled me back ! (:
ATV!!! AWESOMEEEE ! Just that the route a bit standard.. & I banged into a tree.. LOL, like whut !
Fish spa was... -.- I AM AFRAID OF TICKLISH STUFF LAAA ! :(((

On a side note, I really pity the animals over there at Thailand.. What suffering did they went through to be trained till this amount of discipline.? Arghh.. Can't do anything but feel so heartache.. Thats why I hate animal shows.. Singapore's one was okay, tolerable for me, but over there, gosh, too pain to even watch the show :<

Back to hotel bike again ((: WEEEE (:
Bike to some old Aonang restaurant to have our dinner... And back to hotel.. Room service birthday cake (: Thank you WeiLing for planning that pleasant surprise ((:
And thanks JunHao & Euroy for not showering while waiting for the cake to come which took like forever ! Appreciate it (: hahaha (:

Forth day:
Short breakfast, return our bike, and taadaaa, head back to Singapore /:

At the DFS!! Haha, bought liquor, the cashier was like, you are still 17 right.? need to pass 12 midnight then 18.?! LOL Weiling was like then you celebrate your birthday tomorrow meh.? hahaha.. Luckily her supervisor more reasonable, tadaa! Got my ICE WINE <3 <3 & Mom's tiger beer (: Kinda regretting, should bought Chivas instead of Vodka, since I don't like vodka >_< (Very tempted to open my ice wineeee >_<)
