It's awesome when someone makes an effort to make you smile (:
It's so much better than someone who doesn't need to do anyth to make you smile !

Because it shows the true heart..

If someone makes no effort & you are already smiling,

then it might just be your one sided track of thoughts. 

The thing is:
you really think Effort = Work/Distance.??
